Guillaume Vermeersch

Guillaume Vermeersch is an experienced operations and plant manager with a strong background in leading manufacturing and quality improvement initiatives across various industries. Currently at Alpro since November 2020, Guillaume oversees the CUP production site in Belgium, contributing to the advancement of plant-based products. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Manager at Signify, where Guillaume transformed the operations unit and managed the entire value chain, and as Quality & Improvement Manager at Philips Lighting, focusing on operational execution and facilitating the factory's closure. With a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven, Guillaume also holds qualifications as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has delivered significant improvement programs in quality and supply chain efficiency. Additional experience includes motivational speaking and participation in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race as First Mate, where Guillaume led a diverse crew under challenging conditions.
