Japanese Interpreter/ Language Evaluator/ Japanese Language Test Developer/ Voice-over Talent at ALTA Language Services, Inc.

Eriko Yoshioka has a diverse work experience, beginning in 1998 as a stay-at-home mom. In 2005, they began working as a Japanese Interpreter for the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Private Japanese Language Instructor with Eriko the Japanese Tutor, as well as a Japanese Language Instructor with Wyzant. During this time, they also worked as a Japanese Interpreter/ Language Evaluator/ Japanese Language Test Developer/ Voice-over Talent for ALTA Language Services, Inc. In 2013, they became self-employed as an Independent Japanese/English Interpreter and Translator. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an Interpreter Face to Face for Language Services Associates and GLOBO, respectively. In 2018, they also began working as a Voice Talent for ListenUp Audio. Finally, in 2019, they began working as an Interpreter Face to Face (Yanez Interpretation Services (YIS)) for Emory University Hospital.

Eriko Yoshioka began their education in 1990, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Early Childhood Education, Secondary Education, and English. Eriko then attended The University of Georgia from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) in Middle School Education. Additionally, they hold a certification from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission in ESOL, Middle Grades (4-8), and Language Arts and Social Science (4-8).
