Dan Collins

Dan Collins is a seasoned gastroenterologist at Intermountain Healthcare since July 2015, specializing in the diagnostic, medication, and therapeutic management of gastrointestinal diseases. In addition to clinical practice, Dan serves as a board member for Amazing Ski and Snow People, overseeing financial and logistical operations to enhance the well-being of the Alta Ski Patrol community. Dan has extensive experience in ski patrol at Alta Ski Area since November 1993, focusing on avalanche mitigation, first aid, and mountain maintenance. Previous roles include a gastroenterology fellowship at Carolinas HealthCare System and internal medicine residency at The University of Vermont Medical Center. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Utah, where medical education also took place.
