Alfredo Camacho, MPP, currently serves as the Manager of Civic Engagement at AltaMed Health Services, where responsibilities include leading civic engagement campaigns to enhance community participation and health equity. Previously, Alfredo held various positions, including Planning Commissioner for the City of Pomona, where discretionary decisions were made in compliance with the City’s General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. As Western Regional Director at Young Invincibles, Alfredo managed regional policy, advocacy, and communication efforts. Additional experience includes roles at Day ONE Pasadena focused on environmental justice and healthy communities, a training program for young advocates, and internships with Urban Housing Communities and the Office of US Senator Barbara Boxer. Alfredo holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Riverside, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University, and an Associate of Arts in Language Arts and Communication from Mt. San Antonio College.
