Joe Surendranath

Joe Surendranath has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit, compliance, and risk assessment. Joe started their career as a Specialist in the US Army, where they were responsible for maintaining military vehicles and training other soldiers. Joe then transitioned into the private sector and worked as a Senior IT Auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP, where they developed IT internal audit plans and managed staff on projects. Joe later joined Ernst & Young LLP as a Manager, where they planned and managed IT controls for financial statement audits and performed assessments of information systems security. Joe also worked at SingerLewak LLP as a Senior Manager in Enterprise Risk Management Services, where they participated in internal audit planning and performed procedures related to financial statement audits. Joe then served as a Director in Business Advisory Services at Pro Back Office, specializing in risk assessment, IT audit, and compliance consulting. Most recently, Joe has been working at AltaMed Health Services as the Director of Internal Audit & Compliance, overseeing risk assessments and providing auditing and compliance consulting services. Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated their strong attention to detail, expertise in risk assessment, and ability to provide compliance solutions to a wide range of industries and organizations.
