Vanessa Neang

Vanessa Neang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vanessa began their professional career as a Tutor at AmeriCorps in 2015 and continued to work there until 2016. In 2016, they also worked as a Student Mentor at SummerUp for a short period of time. Vanessa then joined Allstate as a Secretary in 2012 and held that role until 2016. Concurrently, they worked as a Student Lab Assistant at the University of California, Riverside from 2016 to 2018, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from 2016 to 2018. Vanessa then transitioned to Element Materials Technology in 2018, where they served as a Metals Prep Technician for several months. In 2019, Vanessa joined Cedars-Sinai as a Research Associate and worked there until 2021. Vanessa subsequently joined Xencor as a Research Associate II in 2021 and continued to work there until 2023. Currently, Vanessa is working as a Healthcare Data Analyst at AltaMed Health Services, starting in 2023.

Vanessa Neang obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside, completing their education from 2014 to 2018. Vanessa then pursued further studies in the field of Data Science and Visualization by enrolling in UC San Diego Extended Studies in 2022. Vanessa is expected to complete a certificate program in this field by 2023.
