Hillary Harner

Hillary Harner has a diverse work experience in data science, research, linguistics, and knowledge engineering. Hillary is currently working as a Data Scientist at Altamira Technologies Corporation since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at NRL from July 2018 to September 2021. Hillary also gained experience as a Junior Linguist at Google (via Adecco) from June 2016 to June 2017. Hillary worked as a Knowledge Engineer at Expert System USA from October 2015 to May 2016. Additionally, Hillary worked as a Corpus Builder at IBM Watson in May to June 2015. Hillary began their career in 2009 as a Grant Analyst at the National Science Foundation (NSF) from November 2009 to August 2010. Overall, Hillary has a solid background in data science, research, and knowledge engineering.

Hillary Harner has a strong educational background in linguistics. Hillary earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Francophone Studies from Villanova University in 2007. Hillary then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Linguistics at Georgetown University, which they completed in 2010. Hillary furthered their education at Georgetown University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Linguistics in 2016.
