Maria Rice

Maria Rice has a diverse work experience. Maria is currently employed as a Software Engineer II at Altamira Technologies Corporation since 2021. Previously, they worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Software Engineer from October 2020 to October 2021, where they used Java and Angular to update and maintain a web application. Maria also implemented Agile methodology for task management and deployment of updates on a live web server. Prior to that, Maria worked at GCyber as a Business Application Developer from July 2019 to August 2020, where they developed and deployed a Java-based web application and implemented Azure AD log-on. Maria also had experience as a Teaching Assistant at Wright State University and as a Research Intern at Georgia Tech Research Institute. In addition, Maria gained practical experience as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, Inc. and as a General Laborer at The Siebenthaler Company.

Maria Rice holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington, which they earned between 2019 and 2020. Prior to that, Maria attended Wright State University from 2015 to 2018, but did not complete their degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Maria has obtained two certifications. In September 2019, they achieved the UiPath RPA Advanced certification from UiPath, and in May 2020, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.
