Joy Ghosh has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joy started their career as a summer intern at Hindustan Lever Limited in 2001. Joy then worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Godrej Agrovet Ltd from 2003 to 2004. Joy moved on to become a Brand Manager at General Mills from 2004 to 2007. After that, they joined Monsanto as the Marketing Manager for their Cotton Traits division, where they formulated the overall strategy and created a brand pull among consumers. In 2010, they joined Accenture as a Manager in Management Consulting and worked there until 2015. During their time at Accenture, they gained experience in various consulting projects. In 2015, they transitioned to ALTANA AG as the Vice President of Market and Technology Development. In this role, they were responsible for strategic projects, cross-border M&A, and providing strategy support to the Global Division President. In January 2020, they took on the position of Global Head of Strategic Projects for the ELANTAS Division within ALTANA AG.
Joy Ghosh completed their Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from St. Xavier's College from 1997 to 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta from 2000 to 2002.
