Luis Hernandez

Luis Hernandez has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as Editor in Chief at Alta and TradeSmith, LLC. Prior to that, they served as Editor in Chief at InvestorPlace and held the position of Managing Editor/Head of Audience Development. Luis also worked as the Director of Strategy at FDAnews and Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Advisor at Mequoda Systems. Luis has experience in the publishing industry, having served as the Vice President of the Specialized Information Publishers Association at the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA). Luis was also the Director of Publishing at Thompson Publishing Group and Senior Research Associate at Barrera Associaes. Earlier in their career, Luis worked as a Project Manager at Indus Corp, managing teams for projects commissioned by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Luis Hernandez completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from St. Mary's University from 1983 to 1987. Luis then pursued a Master of Arts degree in English from Georgetown University from 1987 to 1989.
