André Rodrigues Lopes

André Rodrigues Lopes is the founder of Ateam.io, a Lisbon-based tech company focused on top talent acquisition and training. André started their role at Ateam.io in June 2022.

Prior to founding Ateam.io, André was the co-founder of ALTAR.io, a Product and Software Development House specializing in assisting Fintech, BI, and Marketplace startups. André held this role starting from August 2015.

André also worked as a Vereador (substitute) at Câmara Municipal de Santarem from October 2017 to October 2021.

André served as an Ambassador at Sandbox, a global community of young people involved in various creative pursuits, from August 2016 to February 2019.

André was additionally co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Social Engagement, a role they held from May 2014 to July 2015.

Before that, they worked as a Global Product Manager at Compare Asia Group, a leading financial comparison site in Southeast Asia, from January 2015 to June 2015.

André also served as the Product & Marketing Director and Board Member at EZIMUTE.COM, a tourist guide platform, from October 2013 to April 2014.

Prior to that, they were the CEO of Table & Friends, a platform for organizing group meals and discovering dinner parties, from January 2012 to October 2013.

André's earlier experience includes roles as a Capital Markets Consultant at CBRE from March 2011 to March 2012, and as a Consultant at Grow VC International Limited from February 2011 to December 2011.

André Rodrigues Lopes holds a diverse education history. André completed their high school education at Sec Ginestal Machado from 2000 to 2004, specializing in Humanities/Humanistic Studies. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations at the University of Lisbon from 2004 to 2008. During the 2006-2007 academic year, André participated in an exchange program as an Erasmus student at the University of Nottingham, focusing on International Relations and Critical Theory. In 2008, they obtained a Post Graduation Diploma (CEMAF) in Financial Assets and Markets from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Later, in 2012 and 2013, André pursued further education at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, earning a PAGE BES Empreendedores degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
