John Ellis II

John Ellis II has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. John began their career in 1987 as a Senior Regional Manager for American Cyanamid at Davis & Geck. In 1998, they moved to DeRoyal as an Area Vice President for the Northeast Acute Care Division. In 2006, they joined Baxter International Inc. as an Area Sales Manager and moved up to become US AVP Immunology Acute Care, Alternate Site, IDN & Strategic Accounts and US AVP BioScience IDN's & Strategic Accounts. In 2015, they were US AVP IDN's & Strategic Accounts at Baxalta (Spin-Off Company of Baxter Healthcare). In 2016, they became VP Health Systems Group-Hospital Therapies at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. In 2018, they were VP National Accounts at BioCareSD. Currently, they are Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and VP Market Access and General Manager at AltaThera Pharmaceuticals.

John Ellis II attended Wingate University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Econ/Finance. John also participated in the Executive Scholars Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School.
