Shirley Rigg-cloves

Ms. Rigg-Cloves is an English Solicitor with 31 years of experience providing advice to the commercial aviation industry. Ms. Rigg-Cloves joined Altavair Limited in 2003 and is responsible for all legal matters including managing external counsel relationships and prior to that was Group General Counsel at XS Aviation Ltd., working alongside Mr. Rimmer and Mr. Newrick from 2001 to 2003. She joined from the international law firm of Watson, Farley & Williams from 1991 where she was an equity partner and previously an associate with the international law firm Clyde & Co., London. Ms. Rigg-Cloves has extensive experience advising on private equity fund management, management buy outs, joint ventures, commercial aircraft financings, purchase of new and used aircraft, sale, lease and conversion. As a Partner, she acted for a variety of insurance companies, banks and airlines handling non-contentious and contentious asset finance, management and trust matters, international litigation and arbitrations, work-outs and repossessions worldwide, air casualties and regulatory and compliance matters. Ms Rigg-Cloves is a member of the English Law Society, graduated from Newcastle University in England with full honours (LLB, Bachelor of Laws) and from the Guildford College of Law.
