Tom Amy is Country Executive Guernsey.

Tom Amy joined Alter Domus in May 2017 and is Country Executive Guernsey. In this role Tom leads a dedicated team of fund administration and corporate services professionals, servicing high profile clients which include private equity, real estate, infrastructure and private debt managers. He has more than 17 years of experience working within the financial services industry in the Channel Islands. His areas of expertise cover the full breadth of administration and accounting services to these clients and in his role Tom has oversight of, and often direct involvement in, all client relationships. Tom is also experienced in being appointed to the board of client general partner and other client entities, discussing new client opportunities and structures, and the subsequent take-on and regulatory processes.

Prior to joining Alter Domus, Tom was Managing Director at Elian's Guernsey office where he led the local delivery of client services spanning investment fund, corporate and private client relationships. Tom was also the relationship director for multi-jurisdictional, key client relationships with a particular emphasis on real estate and infrastructure clients. At Elian, Tom was the lead director for the infrastructure sector and enjoyed various external roles including Chairman of the PEI Infrastructure Summit in Berlin and various panellist roles including the Channel Island Funds Forum.

Tom moved to Guernsey in 2012 from Jersey whilst working for Ogier Fiduciary Services, which he originally joined in 2010 as a director of the Corporate Services team. Between 2012 and 2017, he was responsible for all local implications as a result of the management buyout of Ogier Fiduciary Services from the Ogier Group (in 2014), its re-branding to Elian (2014), subsequent sale to Intertrust (2016) and thereafter the local integration of the two administration businesses.

Following his degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath, Tom joined and trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and Jersey. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having originally qualified in 2001.
