Andrey Breslav

Andrey Breslav is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in programming languages and software development. As Co-Founder and CTO of Alter since July 2017, Andrey has significantly contributed to a mental health platform that has assisted 75,000 individuals in accessing therapy. Previously, Andrey held key positions at JetBrains, serving as Lead Language Designer for Kotlin from June 2010 to December 2020 and as Adviser to the CEO in 2024. Additionally, Andrey has been active in academia, teaching programming and serving as a PhD student and lecturer at various institutions. Andrey holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from ITMO University and has completed internships at Microsoft and research collaborations at the University of Tartu.
