Angus Girvan

Angus Girvan is a seasoned marine engineering professional with extensive experience in the offshore sector. Currently serving as a Marine Systems Engineer at Altera Infrastructure since February 2023, Angus has previously held various roles within the same company, including Marine Superintendent for multiple FPSOs from October 2017 to September 2022. Prior to this, Angus worked at Wood as a Hull Integrity Engineer for the Shell Curlew FPSO and as a Marine Engineer for the Hummingbird FPSO from April 2013 to October 2017. Angus’s career also includes significant positions at Maersk FPSOs, Motherwell Bridge, and Lloyd's Register, spanning over three decades. Angus holds a Postgraduate degree in Offshore Materials and Corrosion from Robert Gordon's Institute of Technology, a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Dundee College of Technology, and an HND in Offshore Materials and Mechanical Engineering from Napier College Edinburgh.
