Eirik Berntsen

Eirik Berntsen is an experienced professional in the field of technical integrity engineering, currently serving as Styreleder at Hemne Industripark AS since May 2020 and as a Senior Technical Integrity Engineer at Altera Infrastructure since July 2012. Prior experience includes a similar role at Teekay Petrojarl Production AS from July 2012 to March 2020, where responsibilities encompassed Technical Integrity Management and various technical authority roles related to material selection and corrosion. Eirik also held positions as a Senior Engineer at Axess AS and Project Engineer at FORCE Technology, focusing on risk-based inspection and in-service inspection strategies. Earlier in the career, Eirik worked as a Product Manager and QA Manager at AS G. Hartmann. Eirik holds a Master’s degree in Materials Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST).
