Ivan Rongel

Ivan Rongel possesses extensive experience in the maritime and energy sectors, currently serving as Asset Manager at Altera Infrastructure since February 2020, overseeing Operations & Maintenance for FPSO Cidsde de Itajaí and FPSO Peteojarl 1. Previously, Ivan held the position of Operations Manager at MODEC, Inc. from September 2014 to February 2020, and served as Department and Service Manager at Axess Group from September 2010 to August 2014, where responsibilities included coordinating the technical team and managing project development for the Brazil office. Early career experience includes working as a Surveyor at DNV between March 2006 and September 2010, conducting inspections on ships and rigs, and a role as a Trainee at EISA Shipyard in 2003-2004 focused on structural department activities. Ivan Rongel earned a degree in Naval and Ocean Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and completed high school at Colegio de São Bento.
