Leandro Borges has a diverse range of work experience, beginning with their role as a Software Developer at the Brazilian Navy from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they worked on projects involving cryptography, digital security, system development, and virtual training simulators.
In 2007, Borges worked as a Lift Operator at Sierra-at-Tahoe before transitioning to roles at Fluxo Consultoria, where they served as an Electronics and Computer Projects Junior Advisor and Marketing Advisor.
In 2012, Borges joined NOV and held various positions within the company. Leandro started as part of the Next Generation Leadership Program before transitioning into roles as a Project Engineer, Senior Proposal Engineer, Deputy Project Manager, and ultimately becoming a Project Manager in 2019.
Borges is currently working at Altera Infrastructure as the Director of O&M and Contract Management. In this role, they focus on developing business and commercial models for new O&M contracts, managing the tender process for O&M opportunities, overseeing the portfolio of FPSO contracts, and negotiating contract extensions and improvements with clients to maximize the value added to their operations.
Throughout their career, Borges has shown expertise in project management, engineering, proposal development, and contract management.
Leandro Borges obtained their Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronics and Computer Engineering, from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Leandro pursued this degree from 2005 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Leandro also obtained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in September 2017.
