Jeevan Param

Jeevan Param is the founder and CEO of Alterest, a leading marketplace business lender. Prior to this, they were the head of data at MarketInvoice from January 2014 to December 2015. Jeevan has also worked as a senior quantitative analyst and strategist at Capula Investment Management LLP from January 2010 to December 2014, where they were responsible for fixed income strategies, quantitative analysis, pricing and risk management. Jeevan has also worked as a quantitative analyst at Schonfeld from January 2009 to December 2010, where they built and applied machine learning and stochastic optimization algorithms to quantitative trading in equities. Jeevan started their career as an engineer at SAP from January 2006 to December 2008. Jeevan is also a co-founder and drummer of Inviktus, a band they founded in January 2005.

Jeevan Param completed a Master of Science in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University. Jeevan also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from B. M. S. College of Engineering and a Certification from Coursera in Machine Learning. Jeevan is currently continuing their education with a focus on Intelligent Systems at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
