Larry Schwartz

Larry Schwartz is an experienced writer and photo editor with a career spanning over three decades. Currently, Schwartz serves as a regular contributing writer for AlterNet, focusing on health, science, and history since 2014. In addition, Schwartz has been with Scholastic Inc. since 2001, supervising a team of eight photo editors as Group Photo Manager for Scholastic Classroom Magazines. Previously, Schwartz operated as a freelance photo editor and writer from 2004 to 2011, working with notable publishers including HarperCollins and Random House. Earlier career experience includes serving as Sales Manager at Getty Images from 1993 to 2001, where Schwartz successfully led the Editorial Sales team. Larry Schwartz holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University, earned between 1974 and 1976.
