Colleen Hickey

Colleen Hickey has extensive experience in HR, learning and development, recruiting, and leadership development. Colleen is currently the HR Shared Services Lead at Alterra Mountain Company. Previously, they served as the Manager of Learning & Development and Recruiting at Snowshoe Mountain, the Corporate Recruiter of Talent Acquisition at Vail Resorts, and the Manager of Recruiting and Leadership Development at Nantahala Outdoor Center. Colleen also held the position of Store Manager at Nantahala Outdoor Center and Assistant Retail Manager/Buyer at U.S. National Whitewater Center.

Colleen Hickey obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Belmont Abbey College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they have also pursued various certifications and trainings. These include "Managing Data with Microsoft 365" and "Microsoft Power Automate Essential Training" from LinkedIn, obtained in September 2023. Colleen also completed "Microsoft Power Automate: Beyond the Basics" and "Power Automate Quick Tips" from LinkedIn in the same month. In March 2023, they obtained "Excel Essential Training (Microsoft 365)" from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and "Excel for Business Analysts" from LinkedIn. Additionally, in February 2023, they completed "How to Be Both Assertive and Likable" from LinkedIn. Colleen Hickey holds the certification of "SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)" from SHRM, obtained in June 2020. Colleen is also "DISC Certified" by TTI Success Insights, earned in October 2021. Lastly, they have indicated completion of the "Excel: PivotTables in Depth" course, but the month and year of completion are not provided.
