Cristian I. Scarlat

Cristian I. Scarlat has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

In 2014, they worked as a Direct Marketing Executive at Appco UK, where they were responsible for sales and face-to-face marketing campaigns during organized events. Cristian I. also played a role in recruiting and training the sales team.

In 2016, Scarlat worked as a Sales Negotiator at Foxtons, the largest real estate agency in the UK. Cristian I. sold properties in the surrounding areas, managing long-term relationships with clients.

During the same year, they joined Genpact as a Client Services Analyst. Cristian I. was involved in credit management, customer master data, and claims processes for the high-tech vertical. Cristian I. also had a successful transition in London within the Procure to Pay reporting team for the pharmaceutical vertical.

From 2017 to 2020, Scarlat worked as a Purchasing Manager at Farmaciile DONA, a pharmaceutical retail company. Cristian I. managed a portfolio of suppliers and was responsible for the supply chain of 330 national pharmacies.

In 2020, they joined Prime Kapital Development as a Sales Consultant. Cristian I. identified potential clients for a residential project, managed client relationships, and collaborated with other departments to address client requirements.

In the same year, Scarlat became the International Purchasing Manager at MedPlaza.ro, where they managed a portfolio with an annual turnover of €9 million. Their responsibilities included increasing the product assortment, import supply chain management, and maximizing company profitability through market analysis and promotions.

Currently, Scarlat works at ALTEX Romania as a Product Manager in the Medical Division. Starting in September 2021, they are responsible for managing products within the medical division.

Most recently, in November 2021, they also started working as a Category Manager for PPE Products at rtc: o zi bună la birou!.

Cristian I. Scarlat obtained a Master's Degree in Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship from Newcastle University in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies with International Business Management from The University of Salford from 2010 to 2013. In addition, they also completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance at Universidad de Sevilla from 2011 to 2012. Previously, they attended Alexandru Lahovari National College from 2006 to 2010, where they received their High School education with a focus on Mathematics - Physics intensive English. Cristian has also obtained several additional certifications, including Course Representative from Newcastle University Business School in October 2013, Ambassador of University of Seville in an international conference in October 2011, Certificate in IT from Alexandru Lahovari National College in July 2010, and certifications in leadership and teamwork communication from Leaders of The Third Millennium and the British Council in April and March 2010 respectively.
