Pierluigi Paracchi

Co-Founder and Board Member at Altheia Science

Pierluigi Paracchi has a diverse work experience in the biotech and investment industries. Pierluigi co-founded Genenta Science in 2014 and served as the CEO, leading the development of a cell-based platform for immune oncology treatments. In 2017, they co-founded Altheia Science and joined the board. Paracchi also held roles as the Chairman of the Board at Lipogems International and as a board member at AurorA Science, a biotech investment company. Pierluigi co-founded AurorA-TT in 2017 and served as a venture partner, focusing on bridging the gap between basic research and industrial drug development. Additionally, Paracchi co-founded Axon Partners Group in 2007 and played a key role as an investment committee member in the VC Fund of Funds. Pierluigi was a steering committee member and executive committee member at Assobiotec, an association supporting the development of biotechnology in Italy. Paracchi also served as the coordinator of the Bowling Green Bull Initiative at the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy, connecting Italian companies with U.S. financial markets and investors. Pierluigi was a board member at InnovUp, the Italian Innovation & Startup Ecosystem, and Assolombarda. In these roles, Paracchi contributed to the growth and development of the Italian innovation and biotech sectors.

Pierluigi Paracchi completed their undergraduate education at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore from 1992 to 1996, earning a Laurea degree in Economics.
