Dr. Debajyoti Ray

Dr. Debajyoti Ray has a strong background in research and development, with a particular focus on formulation. Dr. Debajyoti is currently working at Althera as the Scientific Director of Formulation R&D, a role they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they were the Sr. Manager of Formulation R&D at Althera from January 2019 to October 2021, and before that, they served as the Manager of Formulation R&D from April 2017 to January 2019. Before joining Althera, Dr. Ray worked at Laurus Labs Limited as a Research Scientist from June 2015 to May 2017. Prior to that, they were a Team Leader of Formulation Research & Development at Semler Research from May 2012 to June 2015. Dr. Ray began their career at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where they worked in Research and Development from January 2005 to September 2005.

Dr. Debajyoti Ray completed their education in three institutions. Dr. Debajyoti obtained their B.Pharm degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Sri Jayadev College of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the years 1999-2003. Dr. Debajyoti then pursued an M.Pharm degree in Pharmaceutics from the University Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utkal University from 2003-2005. Lastly, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Drug Delivery in Medicine from Annamalai University from 2007-2011.
