Morten Eilertsen

Morten Eilertsen has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Morten worked at Altibox AS from 2018 to the present, where they held the positions of Kommersiell Direktør Privat Altibox (VP/Director) and Chief Product Officer(VP/Director). Morten was responsible for the product development, product management, and product and price strategy for all services in Altibox. Morten was also part of the top management team and had HR responsibilities.

Prior to their time at Altibox AS, Eilertsen worked at NTE - grønt forsprang from 2007 to 2018. Morten held the roles of VP NTE Marked/ Head of Telecom business and Sales and Marked Director NTE Bredbånd AS. In these positions, they were responsible for the budget, result, and distribution strategy for the Telecom business area. Morten also optimized the profitability of the product portfolio and managed product and sales for the broadband market.

Before NTE - grønt forsprang, Eilertsen worked at Telenor Norge AS from 2000 to 2007. Morten held various roles including Portifolio Manager Broadband Residental Marked, Project Director, Project Manager, and Product Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for product development, product management, and strategic planning for both the residential and business markets. Morten also successfully launched new products and managed high-level product development projects.

Eilertsen's career began at Hi-Fi Klubben A/S from 1992 to 1997, where they worked as a salesperson in the consumer market. Here, they gained experience in understanding customer behavior and meeting customer demands.

Morten Eilertsen's education history begins in 1989 when they attended Befalskolen i Nord Norge. Morten obtained a degree in Sergeant with a focus on Army ROTC, Military Science and Operations. In the following year, from 1990 to 1991, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and earned an Examen philosophicum degree in Philosophy. From 1991 to 1997, Morten Eilertsen studied at the University of Oslo (UiO) and completed a Can jur Master degree in Law. Continuing their education, they attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2000 to 2006, where they gained a Master's degree in various fields, including Endringsledelse, økonomiforståelse i ledelse, markedsorientert ledelse, and prosjektledelse. Most recently, between 2018 and 2019, they enrolled in the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Strategisk ledelse.
