Patrick Loner

Patrick Loner has extensive experience in the satellite and space industries, starting their career in 1991 as a Payload Systems Engineer at Hughes Space and Communications. Patrick later worked at DIRECTV, where they served as a Senior Staff Engineer, Satellite System Architect and Director of Satellite Development. In 2012, they joined Space Systems Loral as a Satellite Proposal Lead, leading a team that developed innovative improvements resulting in a major contract award. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Facebook as an Emerging Technology Sourcing Manager. Patrick then worked at PinQuest Golf as Vice President of Engineering before joining SEAKR Engineering, where they worked on digital payload solutions as a Digital Payload Architect/Business Development Manager. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at Altius Space Machines, which develops advanced technologies for terrestrial and space applications.

Patrick Loner received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1989 and a Master's of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the same university in 1991.
