David Bauer

David Bauer is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development, primarily utilizing Ruby on Rails and Python. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Alto Pharmacy since July 2020, David contributes to patient-facing applications on the Patient Health team after previously working on the Providers Team. Prior experience includes roles as Tech Lead and Software Engineer at Yelp, where responsibilities included enhancing the mobile app's home screen platform and APIs. Additional internships at Amazon, MIM Software Inc., and Yelp provided a solid foundation in software development, focusing on task management systems, imaging software, and internationalization tasks. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
