Sarah Light

Sarah Light has a diverse work experience in the field of HR and People Operations. Sarah currently holds the position of Vice President, People at Alto, where they started in September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of People Operations at Alto from May 2021 to September 2023. Sarah also has experience in People Operations at Built Technologies from November 2020 to May 2021 and as a People Operations Consultant at Performentor LLC from June 2019 to November 2020. Earlier in their career, they served as a Human Resources Generalist at Sprout from May 2018 to May 2019 and held various HR roles at ECRS (ECR Software Corporation) from May 2013 to October 2017. Sarah's work history also includes being a Graduate Research Assistant at Appalachian State University from August 2012 to May 2014.

Sarah Light completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology & Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 2012. Sarah then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology/Human Resources Management from Appalachian State University from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management in October 2015.
