Reza Younesi

Reza Younesi has had a wide range of work experience since 2007. Reza began their career with a Master Thesis at YKI Institute for Surface Chemistry in 2007. In 2008, they obtained their PhD from Uppsala University. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a PostDoc at the Technical University of Denmark. Reza then returned to Uppsala University, where they worked as an Assistant Professor and Researcher from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they founded ALTRIS and served as a Board Member. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as an Associate Professor at Uppsala University, Department of Chemistry - Ångström. Currently, they are the Director of Materials Technology at NOVO Energy.

Reza Younesi obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Materials Science from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic between 2000 and 2005. Reza then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2007. From 2008 to 2012, Reza Younesi completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Inorganic Chemistry at Uppsala University. In 2017, they received a Docent in Chemistry from Uppsala University.
