Sashika Suraweera

Sashika Suraweera has a strong background in software engineering and education. From October 2022 to the present, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Altrium. Prior to this, from January 2020 to June 2022, Sashika worked as a Software Engineer at Champ IT Solutions, Inc. In addition, from August 2020 to April 2022, they served as a Visiting Lecturer at ESOFT Metro Campus, and from December 2016 to December 2017, Sashika worked as a Tutor at Ninaro Educational Institute.

From 2013 to 2015, Sashika attended Dharmapala College Pannipitiya, where they studied Commerce.

In 2016, Sashika pursued multiple educational paths. Firstly, they attended the University of Plymouth for three years, from 2016 to 2019, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, during the same year, Sashika also attended SLIIT for a year, specializing in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate). Furthermore, Sashika studied Computerized Accounting at Pearson College London, but no degree was specified for this program.

Sashika continued their education by enrolling in the Robert Gordon University in 2022. They are expected to complete a Master of Science in Big Data Analytics from 2022 to 2024.

As for additional certifications, Sashika obtained a certification in React Testing with Jest and Enzyme from Udemy in August 2022.
