Yohan Liyanage

Yohan Liyanage has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Yohan is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Altrium since November 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at Limark Technologies in various positions. Yohan was the CTO from July 2021 to October 2022, where they managed service delivery for clients globally. Yohan also served as the VP Engineering & Chief Software Architect from January 2019 to June 2021, overseeing the design and development of algorithms for startups in Silicon Valley. Earlier in their career at Limark, Yohan held the position of Director - Engineering from January 2018 to December 2018, where they provided technology insights and leadership to the software engineering team. As a founding member of Limark, they served as the Principal Software Architect from July 2013 to December 2017, consulting on various aspects of software engineering for Fortune 500 enterprises and startups. Yohan also worked as a Consultant Software Architect at Verifone from July 2013 to October 2017, where they architected and oversaw the cloud transformation of ad-tech and big data analytics solutions. Additionally, they held the role of Senior Consultant - Technology at Virtusa from July 2012 to July 2013, providing technical leadership and consulting services for enterprise software solutions. Yohan began their career at JOHN KEELLS IT as a Senior Solutions Designer from November 2008 to July 2012, where they designed and implemented award-winning enterprise business solutions for leading airlines and conglomerates.

Yohan Liyanage has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing from Staffordshire University. Prior to that, they completed their GCE Advanced Level in Physical Sciences & Mathematics at Mahinda College. Yohan has also pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Colombo. In addition to their formal education, Yohan has obtained certifications such as the Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect and the Sun Certified Java Programmer and Sun Certified Web Component Developer from Oracle and Sun Microsystems, respectively.
