Kian Ellens

Kian Ellens is a seasoned professional in cloud architecture and infrastructure solutions with extensive experience. Currently a Senior Architect at Altron Systems Integration since April 2017, Kian addresses complex customer challenges in hybrid architecture integration involving public cloud services, private clouds, and data centers. Kian also leads the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Solutions business unit and has a background in business development across Africa for Bytes Telco Team, focusing on infrastructure transformation. Prior to Altron, Kian spent nearly two decades at Cisco Systems in various roles, including Telco Solution Architect and Business Development Manager, where Kian drove strategic initiatives in cloud and managed services. Kian began their career at McCarthy Information Systems, McCarthy Retail, and Logicon PLC, specializing in network design and automation systems. Kian holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
