Edwin Powers

Edwin Powers has a wealth of experience in business development and strategy. Edwin began their career in 2005 as a Process Engineering Intern at Johnson & Johnson - Centocor R&D Inc. Edwin then moved to Genzyme in 2006, where they worked as a Process Engineer II. In 2012, they became an MBA Intern Commercial Planning and Operations at Gilead Sciences, where they assessed market size, treatment regimens, and unmet need in 5 solid tumor types. In 2013, they joined Bayer, where they held roles as Strategy & Chief of Staff to the Head of Biotech and Project Manager (Engagement Manager) - Strategy & Business Consulting. In 2020, they began working as Senior Director Business Development & Strategy at AltruBio Inc.

Edwin Powers received their B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University in 2006. From 2007 to 2010, they attended Tufts University and earned an M.S. in Chemical Engineering. Edwin then went on to pursue two Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees, one from Columbia Business School from 2011 to 2013, and one from IESE Business School in 2013.
