Mariam is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Tokio Marine HCC since April 2017, Mariam has successfully led the design and development of internal websites for underwriters and brokers, modernizing legacy applications using PHP and Symfony. Previous roles include serving as a Sr. Software Engineer at ReachLocal, where Mariam led the integration of Google AdWords APIs, and as a Sr. Engineer at Mojix, focusing on enhancing real-time data tools. Mariam's earlier career includes significant contributions to the AMTRAK North-East corridor control system at ARINC and multiple internships, including at UCLA and the Stowers Institute for Medical Research. Mariam holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a Bioinformatics emphasis from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Math and Informatics from Yerevan State University.
