Sean Caruthers

Sean Caruthers has diverse work experience in software engineering, teaching assistance, and the culinary industry. Sean currently works as a Software Engineer at AltSource, Inc since 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University from June 2020 to December 2021, assisting students and grading assignments for the Web Development course. Sean also worked as a Line Cook at Noble Rot Wine Bar from September 2019 to December 2021, handling food preparation and cooking. Before that, they were the Brunch Lead at Grain and Gristle, responsible for weekend brunch activities and creating weekly specials. Sean gained line cook experience at The Grand Tier from September 2018 to December 2018 and Pok Pok NY from July 2017 to September 2018. Earlier in their career, Sean served as an Assistant Manager at Hawaiian Time from June 2012 to April 2017.

Sean Caruthers has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Portland State University - School of Business, which they earned from 2011 to 2016. Sean then pursued further education and obtained another Bachelor's degree, this time in Computer Science, from the College of Engineering at Oregon State University. Sean completed this degree between 2019 and 2022.
