Bruce Jiannan Zheng

Bruce Jiannan Zheng has a diverse work experience in the field of research and machine learning. Bruce Jiannan started their career in 2013 as a Machine Learning Intern at ScopeMedia Inc. and later worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Wiivv from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Siemens Healthineers as a Research Intern, where they conducted research in deep learning and medical image registration. During their time at Siemens, they worked on developing image registration algorithms for device tracking during heart and spine surgeries. In 2017, they joined AltumView Systems Inc. as a Research Intern and gradually progressed to Senior Research Scientist and Lead Research Scientist roles. Currently, they serve as the Director of Research at AltumView, where they manage and leads the research efforts for the development of a privacy preserving senior care product.

Bruce Jiannan Zheng holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University. Bruce Jiannan pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University. Continuing their academic journey, Bruce completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
