Melissa Ceo

Melissa Ceo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Melissa is currently working as the Director of Supply Chain at Alumis since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Pfizer as an Associate Director of CMC Program Management from October 2022 to April 2023. Melissa also served as an Associate Director of CMC Program Management at Global Blood Therapeutics from May 2021 to October 2022. Previously, they held the position of Associate Director of Contract Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Principia Biopharma from March 2020 to May 2021. Before transitioning to the biopharmaceutical industry, Melissa had extensive experience in the chemical development and manufacturing field at Gilead Sciences, where they held roles such as Senior Manager, Manager, and Associate Manager from 2015 to 2020. Melissa also has experience as a Science Editor at JoVE from October 2012 to December 2019. Melissa started their career as a Postdoctoral Associate at Boston Biomedical, MIT, and the University of Delaware. Melissa began their journey as an Assistant Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute in August 2002.

Melissa Ceo earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey, which they attended from 1998 to 2002. Melissa then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry at the University of Delaware from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, Melissa obtained various certifications in areas such as project management, change management, and inventory management from LinkedIn in 2021.
