Probal Sengupta

Probal Sengupta is a seasoned technology leader and educator with extensive experience in the field of computer science and information technology. As the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Alumnus Software Limited since December 2000, Probal has been pivotal in driving technological innovation. In addition, Probal serves as an Adjunct Professor at A. K. Choudhury School of Information Technology, University of Calcutta, teaching advanced topics related to computer organization, algorithms, and networking since 2015. Probal's prior experience includes working as a Senior System Analyst at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, focusing on Natural Language Processing and teaching, and as a Lecturer at Bengal Engineering College. Probal holds a PhD in Natural Language Processing from Indian Statistical Institute and advanced degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
