Gareth Edwards

Gareth Edwards has extensive experience in civil engineering and project management, currently serving as a Regional Planner at Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd since February 2019, overseeing planning management for regional civil projects in the South West. Prior to this role, Gareth held the position of Senior Planner/Planning Manager at Costain from August 2013 to February 2019, managing major projects such as the M4 Brynglas Tunnels Refurbishment for the Welsh Government. From 1996 to August 2013, Gareth worked at Birse Civils Ltd as a Site Agent/Project Manager, contributing to significant initiatives, including the £16 million Cardiff City Centre Regeneration Framework. Earlier experience includes roles as a Site Engineer at DMD Construction in 1996 and as a Trainee Site Engineer at Taylor Woodrow from 1994 to 1996.
