Jacopo Barontini

Jacopo Barontini is the Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Partner at Atlantis Partners from December 2005 to January 2007, where they were responsible for the selection, screening, execution, and disposal of equity investments. From March 2001 to May 2021, Jacopo worked as a Partner at Deloitte in the Restructuring Services department. Jacopo has also worked as an Auditor at Ria Grant Thornton S.p.A. from June 1998 to March 2001, and as an Intern at Il Sole 24 Ore from November 1996 to February 1998.

Jacopo Barontini attended the University of Reading as an Erasmus student, studying economics. Jacopo then obtained their Laurea in Economia e Commercio from the Facoltà di Economia at Università degli Studi di Firenze. Jacopo is certified by the Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze (MEF) as a Revisore Legale and by the Ordine dei dottori commercialisti milano as an Ordine Dottori Commercialisti ed Esperti Contabili di Milano.
