Sheila McDougle has extensive experience in human resources, particularly in the areas of organizational development, HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), and employee benefits.
Sheila started their career at Big Lots as an HRIS Supervisor, where they led and managed various HR functions and oversaw projects such as merger and acquisition initiatives. Sheila then worked at Retail Ventures Inc as an HRIS Supervisor, where they focused on optimizing HR technology, data management, and compliance.
Sheila later joined The Ohio State University as an Associate Director, overseeing employee benefits operations and managing enterprise projects. After that, they joined Corrections Corporation of America as Director of HRIS and Organizational Development, where they implemented robust processes for performance management, succession planning, and employee relations.
Sheila then moved to Focus Brands LLC as Senior Director of HRIS and Organizational Development, leading the preparation of the HR department for an IPO and managing various aspects of organizational development.
Currently, Sheila is working at Alvaria, Inc. as the Senior Director of Global Human Resources Operations, where they oversee all global HR operations and strategies, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce analytics.
Throughout their career, Sheila has consistently demonstrated expertise in HR operations, systems optimization, organizational development, and employee engagement.
Sheila McDougle earned their Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business in 2019. Prior to that, they studied Human Resource Management at Columbus State University from 1993 to 1996. Sheila also attended DeVry University from 1990 to 1992, where they focused on Computer Information Systems.
