Chandrashekar Nimkar

Chandrashekar Nimkar currently serves as the Director of Global Supply Chain at Alvogen, a position held since November 2010, where responsibilities include establishing the India Sourcing office aimed at maximizing savings and ensuring quality for regulated and ROW markets. Prior to this role, Chandrashekar held various positions at Sandoz India Limited from September 1998 to October 2010, culminating as Head of the Technical Competency Center. Experience also includes key roles in sourcing and quality assurance at Novartis and initial contributions to the pharmaceutical sector as a Partner at a Contract Research Laboratory. Educational qualifications include an MBA in General Management from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai.
