Mikael Boutin has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.
Mikael started their career at Cegep F.X.-Garneau as a Formateur en technique d'intégration from October 2013 to June 2014.
Mikael then worked as a Dèveloppeur web at Unik Média from February 2013 to August 2014, followed by a freelance position as a web developer at Sudo from April 2015 to August 2015.
From August 2014 to September 2015, they served as a Conseiller/Integrateur web - Developpeur front-end at Nurun services conseils.
At Crakmedia, they held the role of Développeur front-end from September 2015 to March 2018, where their primary project focused on a complete overhaul of the company's main platform using Single Page Application technology.
In 2018, they worked at Caravan Web Worker Coopérative Inc. as a Frontend Developer from April 2018 to October 2018.
Mikael then transitioned to Conecto.ca, where they served as a Partenaire / Développeur from October 2018 to August 2019. In this role, they developed an AWS-hosted quoting solution and handled the complete backend infrastructure using Node.
From August 2019 to September 2022, they worked at Qohash as a Software Lead Front-End Developer. Here, they contributed to the development of a platform designed to discover, understand, and optimize data assets while ensuring their integrity.
Most recently, they joined Roof AI as a Senior Frontend Developer in October 2022.
Additionally, it is worth noting that Mikael Boutin has a role as a Senior Frontend Developer at AlwaysGeeky Games starting from June 2023.
Mikael Boutin completed their education at Cégep Garneau from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained an AEC in web integration. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2006, they attended Collège Bart and received an AEC in 2D/3D animation. In addition to their formal education, Mikael has acquired several certifications, including Graph Developer - Associate from Apollo GraphQL in November 2022, and various certifications from Code School such as Assembling Sass, Assembling Sass Part 2, Discover DevTools, and Try Git, all obtained in January 2013.
