Ahmi Ben-Yehudah

Dr. Ahmi Ben-Yehudah has a diverse and extensive work experience. They are currently working at ALYN Hospital as a Research Facilitator and Director of Business Development, where they promote and secure funding for research and connect start-up companies to ALYN researchers. They previously worked at G.S.A.R Biotechnology as the Vice President of Business Development. They also held the position of VP Medical Operations at Takaro Tech Ltd., where they developed platforms for physical therapy and occupational therapy. They have experience as a Business Development Specialist when they were self-employed. Dr. Ben-Yehudah also served as the CEO of Mehayom, a health lifestyle and diabetes prevention forum. They have held various positions in the Israeli Ministry of Health, Ministry of Science, and LifeMap Sciences. They have a strong background in research, having worked as a Special Consultant and Senior Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in lung development and embryonic stem cell differentiation. They were also a Senior Scientist at Sourasky Medical Center, where they derived disease-bearing human embryonic stem cell lines and conducted characterization and specific differentiation studies.

Ahmi Ben-Yehudah, PhD has a diverse education history. In 1997, they obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. They then pursued a Post-doctorate in cell biology and embryonic stem cells from the University of Pittsburgh between 2003 and 2009. Throughout the years, they also acquired various certificates. From an unspecified start year until 2020, Ahmi completed a Certificate in Corporate Director from The Open University of Israel. They also obtained a Certificate in Financial and Legal Management for Managers from the same institution, which was completed before 2018. Most recently, in 2021, Ahmi obtained a Certificate in Product Management from pmsphere - Leading Products to Success.
