Mike Shields

Mike Shields has extensive experience in the hospitality and airline IT sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Accounts, Hospitality at Amadeus since October 2009. Prior to this, Mike held the position of Vice President - Airline IT Sales at IBM from February 2008 to November 2009, where responsibilities included managing relationships with major US airlines and overseeing sales performance. Mike began a career in consulting as a Principal Consultant at PwC Consulting from June 2000 to October 2001, focusing on business and technology strategies in the travel industry. Earlier experience includes serving as General Manager at Delta Air Lines from October 1984 to June 2000, directing flight scheduling and planning. Academic credentials include a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University and further studies at Harvard Business School.
