Hagay Shmuely

Hagay Shmuely has a wealth of experience in the biotechnology industry. In 2007, they were the VP of R&D at PPS, a CRO/CMO company specializing in protein production and purification processes. In 2011, they were the Head of CMC Team at Efranat Ltd., working under cGMP and performing a tech transfer and developing the production process from academic level to industry standards production process. Hagay was also a CMC contractor at Beeologics in the same year. In 2018, they founded and was the CTO of Ctx-Platforms Ltd., a biotech company aiming to pursue solutions for diagnosing and treating various cancers using targeted technology. Hagay then began working at Amai Proteins in 2019, first as the Director of Biotechnology, and then as the Head of Down-Stream process and Head of Down-Stream Process - Contractor. Additionally, since 2011, they have been working as a free lancer in the field of biomanufacturing, managing several R&D teams with several projects in parallel as VP of R&D.

Hagay Shmuely earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry, molecular biology and structural biology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2006. Hagay also attended Hareali-Haivri Haifa, but no further information is available.
