Katy Gorshkov has worked in various roles since 1999. Katy began as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they studied the influence of melatonin on glucocorticoid receptors in human cell culture. In 2007, they became a Laboratory Technician at עיריית תל אביב-יפו. In 2012, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at Patholab, and then as a Laboratory Manager at Coloright, L'Oreal Group, where they managed laboratory and staff, and designed, implemented, processed and analyzed experiments. In 2017, they worked as a Quality Control Chemist at Phibro Animal Health, followed by a Quality Control Analyst at Omrix Biopharmaceuticals in 2018, where they tested pharmacology products at different stages of production under GMP and FDA regulation. In 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at GluSense, and in 2020, they became a Biochemistry Analyst at KinBio. Currently, they are an Analytic Associate at Amai Proteins.
Katy Gorshkov's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Amur State Humanitarian Pedagogical University (former Komsomolsk-on-Amur Pedagogical University) from 1993 to 1998. From 1999 to 2001, they studied Neurobiochemistry at The University of Tel-Aviv. Finally, they studied Biotechnology and labs of protein at Ariel University from 2004 to 2005.
