Choi Maeda

Choi Maeda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Since 2021, they have been working as a Commissioner at NetSuite. Prior to that, they were a Guest Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology starting in 2018. From 2010 to present, Choi Maeda has also held the role of Chairman at aramco. Choi has also worked as an Executive Director at Bain & Company starting in 2017 and as a Member of the International Council at J.P. Morgan in the same year. In 2017, they founded and became the Owner and Founder of KAJA Group. Choi Maeda is also the Co-Owner of Susi Air since 2015 and AMAN since 2016. In terms of their role as a Transportation Designer, Choi Maeda has contributed to several limited edition car products at BUGATTI, including the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Bugatti LA Voiture Noire, Bugatti Centodieci, and Bugatti Bolide. Choi is also the Owner of Mayapada Hospital since 2010.

Choi Maeda has an extensive education history. They started by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Harvard University in 2008. In 2009, they went on to study Bachelor of Physics Science at the University of Cambridge. Choi then pursued International Relations at Qatar University in 2010. Moving forward, they earned a Double Degree in Architecture and Business Administration from Harvard University in 2011. Choi then studied Master of Unified Engineering in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2013 to 2014. In the same timeframe, they also completed a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Continuing their education at MIT, Choi obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear Science and Engineering from 2014 to 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Doctor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Harvard University, projecting to complete in 2023. Outside of their official education, Choi has attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for military pilot training and previously studied at Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu and Tonbridge School.
