Laura Fraefel has a solid work experience spanning several companies and roles. Laura started their career as a Marketing Assistant at Kunde & Co in 2005 before moving on to Credit Suisse in 2006, where they served as an HR Manager until 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Management Intern at The Siam and later joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC as an Assistant Quality Manager. From 2013 to 2015, Laura held the position of Lodge Manager at Aman. Laura then transitioned to Executive Assistant Manager - Rooms Division from 2015 to 2018 and subsequently served as the Corporate Director of Human Resources from 2018 to 2021. Their most recent roles at Aman include serving as Head of Talent Development and Culture and currently as Global Head of HR.
Laura Fraefel earned a Master of Management in Hospitality from the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Psychology at the University of Zurich from 2003 to 2008. Their Bachelor's Degree in Architecture was obtained from ETH Zürich from 2001 to 2003. In addition, Laura Fraefel has also obtained a certification as a Thomas International Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) Practitioner from Thomas International in 2021.
